Countdown Begins

The last rehearsal is over. The gear is packed up. All that's left is to plug in and blow the doors off the Licking Valley Auditorium on Saturday.

We've planned a set list with a little bit of everything. You'll hear some Bon Jovi. You'll hear some Led Zeppelin. You'll hear some Foo Fighters. AC/DC. Guns N' Roses. We could go on, but what good would that do? You're coming to the show anyway.

Get your tix, flex your metal-sign fingers and get ready for Saturday. Sure it's for a good cause--proceeds will benefit the LV music boosters to keep kids connected with music--but we can sum up the reasons to get out to the show in four letters.

We're Back!

Grade 13 was back onstage June 27 with a rockin' outdoor performance in Deavertown, Ohio--appropriately dubbed "Deaverstock" in this, the anniversary year for another famous outdoor music fest.

How did it go? Well, we were scheduled to play for two hours, kept on playing for three, and the crowd took a collection to keep us going for a fourth--not bad for the debut of Grade 13's new lineup! New drummer Doug Bryant and keyboardist Jack Shoemaker joined the band for the first time ever in front of a live audience, joining Tom Herring (vocals), Chuck Lynsky (guitar), Jon Edmonds (bass), and Josh Caton (guitar).

With another performance just around the corner, there's more Grade 13 news on the way. Keep watching, and we'll see you at the show!
